First things first. Lets just start with the fact that this was an intimate, sunrise wedding on the first day of spring. Just the idea of a sunrise wedding on the first day of Spring is enough to get me super excited. But Aubrey & Randy’s wedding was even more wonderful than I could have imagined.
Aubrey told me that it was the start of a new season full of new promises. And it was a most beautiful start indeed. As the sun began to rise, the music started, and Randy’s eyes lit up to the sight of his bride walking toward him. And Aubrey beamed with joy as the hope and promise of a new season was perfectly set before her. I can’t even begin to explain the virtue of that morning. It was a modest affair, yet the sincerity was overwhelming.
Aubrey planned this wedding to be perfectly them. She hand made her wedding dress, as well as Randy’s vest, AND the wedding cake. Amazing, right!?! And it just get’s better. She planned for the wedding to take place at a beautiful Tudor style Bed & Breakfast, located on the Puget Sound. So getting ready for a sunrise wedding wasn’t all that bad when the bride wakes up at the ‘venue’. And the best part is, when the wedding was finished, the table was beautifully set and a scrumptious breakfast was served. Seriously, a Bed & Breakfast wedding is a brilliant idea! Future brides, take note!
I’ll say it again, it was PERFECT. Perfectly Aubrey & Randy. Perfectly beautiful.
It was the PERFECT start to Spring.
