Alright you guys. I’ve been excited to share this wedding from the moment I took the last picture as Nick & Melissa ran through a tunnel of sparklers for their great departure.
This is one of those weddings where I can’t even begin to describe how honored I was to photograph it. I’ve known Melissa’s family for years. I used to babysit her little sisters when I was in high school. And just before I went on the World Race, I formed a special friendship with Melissa, herself. It was a friendship built of jamming to the tune of Regina Spektor and singing at the top of our lungs with the windows down. What I’m saying is… Melissa is an incredible girl and I have LOVED getting to know her over the years!
So needless to say, this wedding was all kinds of amazing. It was classy in every sense of the word, but it had all the charm and fun of a back yard party! There was so much joy in this day, I found my cheeks hurting from all the smiling I was doing. And the dancing. I don’t know how these folks did it but they danced all the way up until the bride and groom left. And then they kept on dancing.
Enough from me. Enjoy the pictures from Nick & Melissa’s amazing day!
A huge THANKS to Jessi Deal of Echo Photography for being an outstanding Second Shooter!
